If your cars are not the only things in your garage and you have some other stuff except repair tools, than you should organize your garage periodically to prevent it loosing its functionality and usage because of the remaining little space.

Use some additional prefabricate shelves. They provide a lot of space and can be installed very easily. You can categorize your stuff according to their usage as repair tools, sport equipment , electrical equipment, old and unused pieces.

You might consider selling the unused stuff. However before doing this you should check if any member of your family need any of them.
